About the Eastern Healing Centre
Eastern Healing Center is located in downtown Winnipeg, at the intersection of Portage Avenue and Sherburn Street. Our clinic first opened to the public in 1998, with the aim of helping patients to feel better mentally and physically, restore the body’s balance, and enjoy more freedom in their movement in daily lives.

Whether you are focusing on illness prevention, recovering from an injury or surgery, suffering from chronic illness, or looking for emotional healing, our team at Eastern Healing Center is here for you and will do everything we can to make sure that you receive the best, holistic care.

Dr. Lin Liu

Lin Liu graduated from Shandong Traditional Chinese Medical University in China, where she studied both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Chinese Medical Herbs for six years. After that, she studied for three more years to earn a Master’s degree in Acupuncture. Lin Liu practiced TCM and Acupuncture at Liang Shan Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital in China for seven years as a Chinese Medical Practitioner.
She is the daughter of highly acclaimed Traditional Chinese Medical practitioners. The fourth in her family to follow in the medical tradition, she was steeped in Chinese Medicine knowledge from a very early age and carries the collective experience of four generations. She is also open to and familiar with Western medical knowledge. She teaches her patients that TCM should be seen as complementary to Western medicine and that they work well together.
Lin Liu has worked as a Practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Medical Practitioner in our community for over 20 years. She is the owner and head practitioner of Eastern Healing Center in Winnipeg. Lin Liu focuses on infertility, internal balance, pain management, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and more.
She is the Vice President of The Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada (CMAAC), the President of CMAAC Manitoba Chapter, the President of TCM and Acupuncture Association of Manitoba, and a Licensed Acupuncturist throughout Canada.
Lin Liu has also founded the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture College of Manitoba. Her tireless devotion to sharing this wonderful tradition of Chinese Culture is truly an inspiration.

YongNeng Hu
TCMD, R.Ac. Acupressure Therapist, Auricular Therapy
YongNeng Hu graduated from medical school in 2002 and practiced as an anesthesiologist for nine years in China. He also trained with a famous TCM Master while in China and learned advanced and treatments for pain. In 2012 he moved to Canada and continued to study Traditional Chinese Medicine in Winnipeg.
YongNeng Hu focuses on the treatment of pain conditions including headaches, neck, shoulder, arm, back, sciatica, knee, foot, arthritis pain, and sport injuries. His experience working at a hospital in China as an anesthesiologist gives him the background and understanding of how pain is treated in conventional medicine. With his training and experience YongNeng Hu is a great option for treating your pain.
YongNeng Hu also focuses on acupuncture for men’s health. Some of the conditions he treats include enlarged prostrate, urinary retention, ED and sperm quality. YongNeng Hu is skilled in many TCM treatment methods including acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, acupressure massage and herbal medicine.

Cheri Saramaga D. Ac
TCM Acupuncturist
Cheri is a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist (CMAAC). In 1997 she graduated from the University of Manitoba and then worked twenty years for the Federal Government. Her passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine began in her early thirties while suffering with undiagnosed infertility. With changes in diet, exercise and stress along with acupuncture and herbal medicine her and her husband were blessed with a beautiful baby girl. This life changing and motivating experience lead her to study in Winnipeg and become a Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist.
In her late forties after graduating she began focusing on facial rejuvenation acupuncture. TCM has a healthy and holistic approach to beauty that appealed to Cheri so she took extra training in facial cupping, facial gua sha and microneedling. Beauty is about feeling healthy, balanced and alive from the inside out. Cheri has an Advanced Certificate in Facial and Cosmetic Acupuncture.

Wei (Wayne) Zou
TCMD, R.Ac. Acupressure Therapist, Herbalist
Wei (Wayne) Zou graduated from Norman Bethune Health Science Center of Jilin University, where he studied both modern Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine for five years, and studied for additional three years to earn a Master’s degree in Clinical Hematology. He practiced at Beijing Daopei Hospital, Beijing military general hospital and Beijing Royal Integrative Medicine Hospital for 10 years. He is an expert at diagnosis and treatment of hematologic diseases, autoimmune diseases and oncological (tumor related) diseases. Wei Zou works as an Herbalist and Acupressure Therapist at Eastern healing center. A warm, caring individual, Wei puts his heart and soul into his practice.

Angelina (Yutong) Cai
TCMD, R.Ac. Facial Lifting, Tui Na
Angelina Cai has studied at the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture College of Manitoba, as well as University of Manitoba for Nursing. She focuses on Chinese Facial Acupressure (Facial Lifting), Tui Na (Chinese Acupressure massage) and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Fun, positive and upbeat, Angelina Cai always brings a smile to those around her.

Gina Granberg
RMT Remedial Massage Therapist
Gina is a licensed remedial massage therapist. She also practices Cranio-Sacral therapy, Reiki, Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Fertility massage, and both Pre and Post-natal massage. She is also a talented esthetician. She is passionate and committed to the wellness of her patients.

Joan Jet Roce
RMT Remedial Massage Therapist
Joan is a fully Registered Massage Therapist. She graduated from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy in 2020. She specializes in Swedish massage, relaxation, deep tissue, TMJ treatment, Dynamic cupping and Hot Stone massage. She has also taken additional courses in Fascial integration and Rib mobilization. Her focus is in using assessment and treatment, joint mobilization techniques and integrating muscle energy techniques to her practice. Her goal is to help her clients achieve full functionality through stabilizing the body
